Measures to Ensure the Competitiveness of Agricultural Enterprise Products in Modern Conditions

The purpose of the article is to study the areas of ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural enterprise products, determine the strengths and weaknesses of the competitiveness of agricultural enterprise products, identify threats and opportunities for the competitiveness of agricultural enterprise products in modern conditions. Indeed, in the context of globalization, dynamic changes in the market environment, and increased competition in both domestic and foreign agricultural markets, the issue of ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural products is becoming particularly important.
The article examines the directions of ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural enterprise products in modern conditions. The key specific properties of agricultural activity are considered. It is substantiated that to assess the efficiency and competitiveness of agricultural enterprise products, a comprehensive combination of economic, environmental, biological and social factors is necessary. The factors that determine the competitiveness of agricultural enterprise products are considered, the competitive advantages and disadvantages of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine and the EU are considered.
It has been proven that the level of competition in agricultural products is influenced by the following factors: market concentration (presence of dominant agricultural holdings or developed small farming); the presence of imported products on the domestic market, their price and quality; access to infrastructure (transport, processing, storage, logistics); state support or subsidy policies in other countries that create asymmetric conditions of competition. A SWOT analysis was conducted to ensure the competitiveness of agricultural products. The research determined that the efficiency of agricultural operations, the level of competitiveness of the industry as a whole and the competitiveness of products in particular, in a globalized economy, largely depends not only on the internal resources of the industry, but also on the level of development of related and related industries. These sectors form the so-called "agricultural support environment", which provides the necessary material, technical, intellectual and infrastructural resources for the full-fledged conduct of agricultural production.
