Integration of ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 Standards to Ensure Sustainable Development of Enterprises Producing Defense Products

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the role of the integration of ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 standards as the basis for the sustainable development of enterprises in martial law, as well as to determine the sequence of stages of increasing their responsibility and competitiveness through certification, codification and modernization of production. The need to form a comprehensive management model that combines process standardization, risk management and business continuity planning is determined. Special attention is paid to the problems of functioning of enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine and manufacturers of defense-related goods.

The study uses a systematic approach to analyzing the relationships between product quality, business process continuity and strategic stability of the organization. The content of ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 standards, their key principles and tools that allow enterprises to ensure the stability of product characteristics, transparency of management decisions, the creation of backup supply channels and the development of production recovery plans are disclosed. The role of certification of defense products as an evidentiary and integration mechanism that builds customer trust and paves the way for product codification and participation in international supply programs is separately considered.

Thus, the relevance of the study of the integration of ISO 9001 and ISO 22301 creates an integrated management system that simultaneously guarantees product quality and business process stability even in crisis conditions. In this context, the integration of ISO standards is considered as a strategic basis for sustainable development, increasing competitiveness and trust of international partners. Prospects for further research are to develop practical models for the integration of ISO standards in wartime conditions, improve certification and codification procedures in accordance with NATO requirements, as well as find optimal ways to modernize production to ensure the competitiveness and sustainable development of Ukrainian enterprises.
