Effective Management of Enterprises’ Digitalization as a Guarantee of Financial Stability of Business in Ukraine

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the study of actual problems faced by enterprises in the conditions of full-scale war. The level of shortage of personnel in the country was determined and the main five reasons for the critical shortage of highly qualified personnel were formed according to the latest surveys of entrepreneurs. It was found out that the causes of the shortage in our country are fundamentally different from global trends, precisely because of possible influences and factors that take place only during wartime. According to the index of business sentiments was studied was found that despite all the obstacles, the most of entrepreneurs consider their condition relatively satisfactory and they are planning further development and expansion of their business.

                The level of digital channels used in the entrepreneurs work is summarized, ranging from partial use to full dependence of digital systems. At the same time, it was determined that only a third of businesses do not use digital channels in their work - accordingly this may affect their competitiveness in the market, where everyone is digitizing their activities in one way or another, and on the other hand, most digitalized enterprises are currently at risk of stopping their business due to one of the highest levels of cyber threats in the world. The departments of the enterprise that are most affected by blackouts and lack of communication were additionally established, namely sales, production and IT, which primarily affect income and financial stability. The causes of logistics problems and the decrease in the freight turnover index over the past three years have been established.

                Current trends in the world's digital technologies to achieve short-term goals are presented, most managers of well-known international companies currently identify artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) together with the Internet of Things (IoT) as the most relevant elements of enterprise digitalization to maintain competitiveness and financial stability. It was established that despite the main problem of Ukrainian enterprises in the critical lack of personnel, the main part of investments should be in the implementation of the latest digital technologies, first to protect existing information networks and commercial information, followed by the introduction of automated systems to increase competitiveness in the market.
