Mechanisms for Managing the Economic Security of Agricultural Enterprises in Conditions of Military Risks

Abstract

The article examines the mechanisms of managing the economic security of agricultural enterprises under conditions of military risks, which significantly transform the operating environment of Ukraine’s agricultural sector. The aim of the study is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations and practical approaches to forming effective mechanisms for managing the economic security of agricultural enterprises amid military risks, which fundamentally reshape the agricultural sector’s functioning environment. Emphasis is placed on the need to rethink existing security tools from the perspectives of resilience, flexibility, and rapid response to crisis challenges.

The research employs a comprehensive approach that includes analyzing the theoretical foundations of economic security, assessing the impact of military risks on key performance indicators of agricultural enterprises, and systematizing effective management mechanisms in crisis conditions. A comparative characterization of enterprise adaptation strategies is conducted depending on their size, organizational structure, and degree of dependence on external resources. Significant attention is given to aspects such as production diversification, internal control, risk management, strategic planning, logistical solutions, and digitalization of management processes.

The generalized conclusions indicate the necessity of implementing a systemic approach to forming economic security mechanisms based on the principles of adaptability, flexibility, and sustainable development. The study’s results can be used in shaping state policies to support the agricultural sector, as well as in the practical activities of enterprise managers to minimize losses and ensure production continuity. Prospects for further research lie in developing sectoral anti-crisis management models that consider regional specifics and conflict development stages
